Peter Nymann works with comprehensive advice in the field of energy and environmental law.

Here, Peter is particularly concerned with sector planning, environmental protection and the regulation of utilities in a broad sense, including both public law regulation and in relation to e.g. property and management relationships or corporate law relationships.

Peter primarily advises municipalities as well as municipal and consumer-owned utility companies and thereby has, among other things, experience with the special rules of the game and problems that apply to advice in politically controlled organisations. In particular in connection with the incorporation of the water sector, Peter assisted with the formation of approx. 25 municipalities’ water and waste water companies – either as stand-alone companies or in a utility group.

Within his specialties, Peter assists both with advice and sparring as well as with the handling of disputes and appeals at administrative appeals bodies and the courts.

In addition, Peter spends a lot of time communicating and teaching within his areas of work, where he teaches courses at DANVA and the Fresh Water Center as well as under the auspices of EnviNa, just as he also holds special courses for municipalities, utility companies and other clients.

Peter has also assisted the Danish Environmental Protection Agency on several occasions, including legal quality assurance of the conclusions in analyzes of security of supply in the water area, just as Peter has contributed to the preparation of the guidance for the wood-burning stove order and the portal on air pollution from wood-burning stoves and wood-burning boilers.
