Pernille Aagaard Truelsen has particular knowledge of the supply sector’s legal relations. Here, Pernille has experience in advising both the municipal and consumer-owned supply sectors, including their industry organisations.

In connection with the water sector reform, Pernille has carried out company separations in approx. 25 municipalities, and in addition assisted in other restructurings and mergers of utility companies of all kinds, as well as amalgamation and closure of joint municipal companies in the waste area. For the trade associations, Pernille has created a set of new standard delivery regulations, heating agreements and statutes.

Pernille also has experience in advising national and regional authorities. Specifically, Pernille has prepared a legal analysis for the Nordic Council of the rules for recycling textile waste, 2017, assisted the Environmental Protection Agency with a report on security of supply in the water and waste water area, 2018, and on the handling of residual products from biogas plants. She has previously assisted the Energy Complaints Board in connection with settling the board’s backlog, and handling complaints at the Parliamentary Ombudsman.

In addition, Pernille has a Ph.D. and teaches within his areas of work at courses and seminars at Komponent, the Fresh Water Centre, Danish Waste and DANVA. Furthermore, Pernille has developed the utility law training for DANVA, Danish Remote Heating and Danish Waste Association, which she also teaches at.

Finally, Pernille has written the Heating Supply Act with comments together with Bent Ole Gram Mortensen, as well as several chapters in Danish Environmental Law (Ellen Margrethe Basse, editor).
